Club Cheek // 25th November
I had a fantastic time performing another set with my sister, composer and violinist Galina Juritz, and joined by Richard Greenan, opening for a Kit Records event on the 25th November at Club Cheek. We performed a mixture of improvisations, a newly co-composed piece placing a two-part Rennaissance madrigal over an ambient string-soundscape, and tracks from her new album One Weird Trick .
We were followed by Dialect, the solo project of composer Andrew PM Hunt, who presented a beautiful set of textural, collage-like sound art. Roméo Poirier closed the night with his electro-acoustic compositions mixing found-sound, samples of media-dialogue, and modular synth textures.
